This 5.25" Mohd. Sharif nylon-strapped dayan is tuned to D#/E and is best suited for beginners, casual practice, or players seeking an economical replacement drum. Built with traditional craftsmanship and durable nylon strapping, it offers stable tuning and dependable playability. This particular dayan has a mediocre sound profile, along with slight buzzing and cosmetic blemishes on the shell and finish, all of which have been reflected in the pricing. Despite these imperfections, it remains a functional and affordable option for learning basic tabla techniques, accompaniment practice, or as a spare dayan for everyday use.
