Built on a black sheesham shell, this refurbished 6" B/C dayan offers the substantial feel and powerful tonal foundation often associated with denser, traditionally crafted drums. The heavier shell contributes strong projection, deep resonance, and a warm, grounded tonal character that responds well to both accompaniment and solo playing. Its larger profile produces a rich voice with excellent sustain and presence across the playing surface. Buzzing is present and should be expected as part of this instrument's current condition. Despite this characteristic, the dayan retains its musical character and remains a solid option for players seeking a black sheesham shell with mature tonal qualities and exceptional value.
