Lalvaaj is a commanding 25″ long Punjabi dhol made from mango wood, finished in a glossy red lacquer with golden rope accents and vibrant multicolor tassels. Built for power and projection, its size delivers a booming bass and sharp treble tones, but this model comes fitted with a plastic bass skin—giving it a punchier, more synthetic low-end compared to traditional dhols. While it also carries minor cosmetic defects, these do not affect durability or playability. A solid option for players seeking an affordable, visually striking dhol with strong stage presence and reliable function.
