The Noorstone™ 5⅝” Dayan is a bold and resonant tabla crafted from black sheesham, tuned to a deep D/D# pitch. This particular piece produces a ringing sound—a lingering overtone most noticeable during open strokes, giving it a distinct acoustic character. Structurally solid and tonally rich, it also features minor cosmetic blemishes such as light scuffs or natural wood inconsistencies, none of which affect tuning or performance. A visually striking and tonally unique addition for players who appreciate full disclosure and character in their instrument.
