Surya Vein is a radiant creation from the hands of Chetram Gill, merging weight, presence, and artistry in a single dholak. Hand-carved from premium red sheesham wood and weighing 14 lbs, its surface displays flowing vein-like engravings, accented with polished metallic fittings for a bold, timeless look. The body resonates with a deep, balanced tone, while the skins are tuned to deliver sharp treble clarity and commanding bass. A true statement instrument for performers and collectors, this dholak embodies both tradition and individuality—crafted not just to be played, but to be admired.
