This designer-wrapped dholak is crafted from solid red sheesham wood and finished in an intricate red and green brocade-style wrap, paired with black skins that produce a refined, closed tonal character with controlled resonance and focused articulation. Measuring 19.75" in length and weighing 19.2 lbs, it has a dense, authoritative feel that favors clarity and definition over excessive sustain. The bass skin shows cosmetic defects only, purely visual and with no impact on tone or performance. Decorative rope lacing preserves a traditional aesthetic, while the overall build presents a polished, stage-ready presence suited for devotional, ensemble, and precision-driven playing contexts.
