Introducing the Redwood Whisper — a rare 5.75" dayan carved from dense Red Sheesham by master maker Bharat Kakade, tuned in the nuanced upper male register (B/C/C#). This piece delivers a warm, resonant tone with expressive mid-range clarity, but bears minor cosmetic imperfections on the shell and a subtle buzzing under light strokes — the kind of honest imperfection that tells a story. While not a pristine showroom piece, it holds the sonic depth and structural integrity expected from a Kakade dayan, making it an excellent choice for the discerning player who values character, craftsmanship, and tone over flawless appearance.
