The Vikrti Taal — “Rhythmic Variation” — is a 5.5" D/D# mango wood dayan shaped by its unbalanced skin, giving it a tone that is more suited to practice and training than performance. Built from mango wood, it offers a lighter structure and durability, making it a reliable companion for students or players seeking a practice-focused drum. Its character lies in imperfection, providing a unique rhythmic voice that can still serve in daily riyaaz or as a secondary instrument.
